Willow Granny Square Tank - Crochet Top Pattern
If you’ve seen my video tutorial for the willow granny square, you might already be hooked on this fancy, lacy version of the classic motif (and if you haven’t seen that video yet, click here!). This crochet top incorporates the impressive looking square into a simple, cropped crochet top design that even confident beginners can try!
This pattern is written for sizes S/M, L/XL and 2X/3X with finished bust measurements of 34in (86cm), 42in (105cm), and 56in (142cm) respectively.
It calls for category 3, DK weight yarn like Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK and a 4mm crochet hook with a gauge of about 18sts by 9 rows on a 4×4″ (10x10cm) swatch in double crochet. Knowledge of basic crochet stitches as well as the dc2tog decrease are helpful for this pattern.
